You can get a Telegram username from a phone number only through Telegram's official routes: save the number as a contact or open a t.me/+ link. Both stop at the owner's privacy setting. Why every Telegram phone lookup hits the same wall

Start from the message, not the number

Enrich a lead you already found

When to use a phone lookup, and when to search instead
A phone lookup still has a place. It is fine for one person who gave you their number and expects to hear from you. It stops making sense the moment you want many people you have never met.
Rule of thumb: a number works when the person is waiting to hear from you. Otherwise start from what people write, and you will have something to say.
A client left a number in a form. Try contact sync. If nothing appears, call or email; they chose not to be found on Telegram.
You want to check who is behind a number before a call. Contact sync shows the name they chose. It is not an identity check, so treat it as a hint.
You bought or scraped a list of numbers. Don't. Most lookups come back empty, and cold messages to strangers get reported.
